Information for travellers with special needs

Part of the TOKS bus fleet is equipped to comfortably transport and serve passengers with various disabilities – mobility, hearing, visual, etc.

 

All persons with special needs are very much welcome to purchase their tickets in a way that best suits you.

 

When buying tickets online:

If you need special assistance before and during your journey, contact an administrator-on-duty at +370 611 13426 or budintis@toks.lt to check if the seats dedicated to disabled passengers are available for booking. If the special seats are available, the traveller can proceed with purchasing their ticket and arrange all the necessary assistance upon arrival at the station.

If there are no seats available on the desired journey, the administrator will kindly help find another option for the trip.

Wheelchair-accessible routes (operated by buses with wheelchair elevators) are marked with a special sign in the ticketing system (see photo below).

 

 

Important! To secure a seat on your preferred journey, passengers with disabilities are kindly requested to contact the station administrator at least 36 hours before departure and to arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before departure.

 

When buying tickets at the station ticket office:

When purchasing tickets at the Vilnius station ticket office, passengers with disabilities must also inform the ticket agent of any assistance that may be required on the day of travel. In addition, please arrange the acquisition of tickets at least 36 hours before departure and arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before departure.

Note: The maximum load capacity of the bus lift is 350 kg.
