TOKS to Establish the Largest Electric Commercial Transport Service Center in the Region, in Vilnius

The intercity bus company TOKS, together with the logistics real estate development company SIRIN Development and its subsidiary ME Trade, which manages a transport base in Vilnius, will establish the largest electric commercial transport service center in the region.

Following the acquisition of a 42,000 sq. m. territory and 6,000 sq. m. of commercial and administrative buildings in the capital, TOKS plans to set up a modern service hub for electric transport. The facility will include electric vehicle charging stations, technical maintenance services, and infrastructure designed to serve a growing fleet of electric buses and commercial vehicles. This initiative will make the site the region’s leading service center for electric commercial transport.

According to TOKS, the new base will provide high-quality charging and service solutions for electric buses, vans, and trucks, with a special focus on businesses transitioning their fleets to electric mobility. A 1 MW power grid connection will be installed, ensuring smooth operations in partnership with ESO, Litgrid, and Ignitis.

TOKS has already been investing in electric transport. Currently, 50 of the 150 buses operated by the company are fully electric, including electric minibuses that serve local routes in Klaipėda and to Palanga Airport.
